I know I keep going on about Pro's Day, but what a special day and night this event is to the Pro Shop team. 2025 was by far the best despite the horrible weather to end the day, but that definitely didn't dampen the mood! The atmosphere throughout the day is second to none, the camaraderie, the excitement, the fun on course games, the evening entertainment and of course the incredible prizes!
210 golfers (approx) all took part with a strong mix of members and their guests. The format always throws up a few surprises and our Happy Gilmore putting surprise on 18th (putting with an ice hockey stick) certainly got you all thinking
The nighttime entertainment was incredible, the clubhouse was full and I've never seen a golf club celebrate, dance and sing along as much as I did on Saturday. What an incredible day & night!
Huge thank you to all the suppliers, especially Andy Buttar from Titltiest, who was on the first tee with his ball education and giveaways. To the clubhouse team led by Nicole and Avril, Bobby and the Kitchen team and of course, my amazing Pro Shop colleagues, this day is as much about them as it is about the "Pro". 2026 will need to go even bigger and better to beat that one. See you ALL next year!
