I promised myself that I wouldn't go on about the weather this week, so given that you all have eyes of your own, I will leave it for you to look out of the window!

 

Course Update

The bunker project is almost finished now and although Grant is finishing it off this coming Friday, our new Course Manager David and his team only have another couple of weeks before they can officially call the bunker project 2015 completed! Well done to all the guys who have been out there in some horrendous weather I think you will all agree what a job it has been!

 

A fond farewell...

As mentioned it is Grant's final day on Friday, please note that there is a leaving drinks reception at the club from 7pm that everyone is invited along to.

Junior Prize Giving

Before that on Friday we also have the junior prize giving starting at 6pm, although the kids can't get involved in the leaving drinks reception, why not come along and support their prize giving event and give them a cheer! I am hoping to announce a couple of positive steps forward for the junior section next year so watch this space.

Club Prize Giving 

Last Saturday we saw the ladies (Friday night) and the men's (Saturday night) prize giving ceremony for 2015. Although I wasn't invited to the ladies event... I did go along to the men's shindig on Saturday. It's safe to say that by now (Wednesday) I have just about recovered, thank you to our Captain Iain for the invite, what a night it was!

   

 

Bunker play

I've heard a few of you in the shop over the last few weeks talking about the new "deep bunkers". Have you thought about the impact this may have on your bunker play?
