Linlithgow pro shop prepared for the cold snap!
After our wonderful summer months this year, it is that time again that we look forward to the wet and cold winter months at Linlithgow Golf Club. I am happy to tell you all that you have to look no further than your own professional shop for your winter golf equipment and apparel this year! Last Friday saw one of the busiest days at the pro shop since my arrival with almost every delivery company in the U.K making a stop by the club. The reason for this was due to the launch of all autumn/winter ranges for 2015/16.
If you pop by the shop this week there is lots for you to see from a variety of different manufacturers appealing to all different price points. I have lined sweaters, Cyclon tops, buckets hats, fleece jumpers, Gore Tex, ProFlex and even some of Phil's spandex! All kidding aside, we are kitted out and well prepared for you this year and I am sure you won't be disappointed!

Rules Night
For those of you who have missed my previous posts or even those who have shown some interest already, I would like to remind you all that I am hosting a rules night at the club on Friday, 2 October at 7pm. I will be joined on the evening by European Tour and Ryder Cup referee Mr Ian Taylor. As we approach the date, could I please ask you all to consider confirming your numbers and buying your tickets now to allow myself and Karen from the kitchen to organise buffet and make payments to the speaker. I have approximately 40 maybes on my list and this will allow us to prepare correctly. For more information please click here, or please pop into the shop to confirm payment and receive tickets etc. I am sure this will be a very fun and knowledgeable night at the club which I am sure will prepare you better on the golf course!
Another good man down!
It is with great regret that I have to inform you that we are unfortunately losing another great member of staff. Cameron Adam who has been working with me in the shop has decided that it is time for him to move on. Cameron as most of you will know, has successfully come to the end of his PGA qualifiaction course. With the world at his feet Cammy is now looking at the next chapter in his professional career with a view to moving abroad of even down to the big smoke south of the border. I for one would like to thank Cameron for all his hard work and for helping me settle well at LGC. I am sure he will go on to do well wherever he goes. Cammy has a few words that he would like to pass on...
"I regret to inform you that I will be moving on from Linlithgow GC on October 22nd to pursue the next chapter of my professional career. I would like to thank all the members of LGC for their support over the last 18 months and for making that time very enjoyable. I would also like to thank Kenny for allowing me to finish my PGA training as part of his staff and wish both him and Phil well in the future."
