The qualifiers are over and the match play draws have been made. By the end of this week, we will have our new club champions for the 2015 season! Thankfully the weather seems to be looking good for once this week after what can only be described as a monsoon at times over the weekend qualifiers. I had the chance on Sunday to go out and watch some of the golf for myself, of course I kept to the comforts of my buggy where I continued with my five layers. I couldn't quite believe when I arrived at the 6th green to find Gordon Cairns and Ken Dagger with shorts on!
Well done to Graeme Scott who was the overall weekend winner with scores of 75 and 68 both of which were incredible considering the weather. Well done also to Neil Mackinnon and Ian Shivas who won the second and third class respectively.
As you know this Sunday is Finals Day for all categories and with a good weather forecast for the weekend, we hope to see you all at the club to support all the club finals. If the sun stays out you may even get to see me back in some shorts when I am out doing my official rules role for the Men's Final.
