So the nation has spoken, the votes are in and the ballot papers have been counted. I am really happy to announce that you, the members of Linlithgow Golf Club have voted for me to stay as your new Club Professional. Thanks for the support! Now that I have extended my own stay you will have to put up with my terrible patter for a bit longer.

Complete Equipment Solution

We are now into the second week of our Complete Equipment Solution campaign. For those of you who are not aware I am offering you all the opportunity to receive a FREE custom fitting for any PING or Titleist product. I am also happy to offer you all a FREE follow up lesson so that I can help you make the most of your golf equipment. Week one saw some great success with one particular member (I won't mention any names incase his friends run scared this weekend) gain a huge improvement of 18 yards from his new PING G30 irons. This particular fitting was a great example of how today's club head and shaft technologies not only improve ball striking and flight trajectory but also ball speeds and dispersion. I am positive that after we have our free follow up lesson we will be sure to see even better results!

Our new Glenbrae club logo knitwear has arrived in store and has been a huge success in week one. We have a number of different colours, sizes and style options for you to have a look at. If there is a colour that you don't see, I will be happy to show you the full Glenbrae colour scheme along with offering you both Linlithgow Golf Club logos that seem to be just as popular as one another.

You may have seen some of my recent social media updates raving about our two FREE Lynx demo nights recently. I would never have imagined the success we have seen after our members got the opportunity to try their latest products. To be honest this was a brand that I hadn't thought much about for this season, but I have been so happy to see so many of you enjoying your golf again and gaining some huge distance and results. Be sure to look out for the demo clubs arriving next week in store!

Lynx are also offering first class junior clubs that I have coming into store at the start of next month. If you have any children getting into golf, these lightweight, quality iron and titanium heads are brilliant for children not yet fully grown or developed enough yet to hit men's or even ladies irons. We are also offering fittings for these children irons to ensure we get each and every child a club they can enjoy their golf with this summer.

Last Friday night was the start of the gent's team matches for this season. Unfortunately our team lost narrowly to a very strong Deer Park on the night. Captain Ryan Leslie and his team have their second match this coming Friday and they would love your support. If you are free on Friday night please come along and give a helping hand. Who knows, this could be the start of a new caddying career!
