Well it is hard to think that we are already one third of the way through 2015 already. Last week we were fortunate enough to have our shirt sleeves on and this week we have experienced a few more snow showers around the golf course! Fingers crossed this was just a little upset and we will be back approaching summer conditions again shortly!

Well done to Danny McGowan for winning last weekend's Stein trophy in conjunction with Tom Graham round one. Danny just managed to pip John Sinclair into first place after both players tied on a superb nett 63. Also well done to Agnes Martin who won the Ladies' Summer Stableford with a score of 39 points beating the rest of the field by a whopping four points!
This week I was happy to hand over my prizes from our "Masters Green Shirt Event" from April 12th. Well done to Andy Arbuckle (pictured) for braving the wettest of conditions and coming out top of the pops on the day. Andy was extremely happy to receive my Masters themed green shirt in the pro shop before enquiring about an Adams red, white and blue golf bag.
Team news
The first men's team match of the season gets underway on Friday, 8 May. Our new team captain Ryan Leslie has asked for your support. Please feel free to come up and lend a hand, the first game is against Deer Park and gets underway at 5pm here at Linlithgow.
