I have to admit I am the most excited I have ever been about (hopefully) returning to work this Friday, I say hopefully as we still await final clarification from the Scottish government at lunchtime on Thursday (I write my newsletters and submit on a Wednesday). The tee booking went live (and mental!) last Saturday 9.45am, the demand to get back to the club that we all love has never been higher, well done to all those who managed to get a time over the weekend, the weather looks amazing for our return! I have a couple of key videos for you all to watch this week, both will definitely help you get started again this weekend. Stay safe, enjoy the read. I am looking forward to seeing all of you again!

Return to golf As you are aware, we have a few restrictions around the course, the clubhouse, the car park etc, to make it easy for you all I have put together a short video, please watch this video as I hope it will answer any queries you may have! Please click here to see the video. |
I am sure you have all been asking yourselves the same question, "what the first short back going to be like?" "will I hit driver?" "will I take an iron for safety!?" do not worry, our newest Teaching Professional Alyson McKechin has put together a small "Tips" video to help you with the nervy first tee shot. This year's Club Captain George Clelland better be watching this video ahead of his slightly delayed Captain's Drive at 7am this Friday. To grab some tips, please click here to see Alyson's video. We are available to offer one to one coaching as soon as we open up, if you would like to book a lesson with Alyson, Scott or myself, please click here to get in touch! |
Academy Course News For Academy Course bookings, can all players please call ahead and book a time through the pro shop. We will be running a manual tee sheet from day to day, to try and control the flow of traffic. Tee times can only be booked on the day. The pro shop telephone number is 01786 464098 option two. |
Shop News The pro shop will be open from Friday morning, we do have a number of restriction in place, if you are needing any guidance or you are simply uncomfortable about coming in doors, please do not worry! I am offering a ORDER NOW, COLLECT & PLAY service, simply click here to get in touch or call ahead to the pro shop on 01786 464098 to order ANYTHING you think you may need, tell us a time and we will come out to you and drop any essential items to you! We are here to help you all get started and talk through all the different procedures going on. Please ask if you are uncomfortable! |
Could this really happen? Over the past couple of weeks, we've been lucky enough to watch Tiger, Rory and a select few others take to the course to raise money for charities. But, it's got us thinking... With the PGA Tour set to return next month and the European Tour the month after - both without fans for a while - will September's Ryder Cup match between Europe and USA go ahead? If it does, it'll likely be without spectators but would that be the same spectacle? Think back to Paris in 2018 when the cameras panned around the first tee at the start of each match to thousands of fans in the grandstand. It was a sight to behold. Let us know what you think by sending us a message here.

As a sport, golf has been given the green light ahead of the vast majority of others. So, when you do get back out on the course, there's a good chance those crumpled up gloves at the bottom of your bag will need replacing. We have a great selection of gloves in-store that are still in their packaging, including FootJoy's brilliant range - the #1 glove in golf! From all-weather gloves to the softest leather gloves around, get in touch with us below and we'll be happy to help you out.
