This week I am delighted to be writing my newsletter with some sunshine over the course here at Stirling Golf Club. I'm not sure exactly how long it’s going to last, but I am enjoying while it’s here!
There's been a lot going on over the last week, I'm starting to get the buzz now that the golf season is just over a month away.

Kids At The Castle What a weekend we had introducing our brand new Kids At The Castle launch! On Saturday afternoon we welcomed over 50 children and their parents to the club for some fun indoor golf and a short presentation to our new programme. It was great to see so many families coming along to the club and enjoying what we had to show them about our Junior Golf Programme. We were joined on the day by PGA professional Alan Tait from Golphin who kept everyone entertained, we even had an inflatable dartboard set-up in the main clubhouse to get all the juniors up and involved!
Most of the children that came are not members of the club (yet) and most of them I didn't even recognise if I am being honest, it just goes to show that our reach is getting out there into the local community as more and more families are coming along to hear what we are up to!
Unfortunately the weather prevented us from getting out on to the practice ground and showing everyone around. I am sure we are going to have a great season again with the children as I've been saying for two years now, we will be back with a strong junior section soon, the future looks good for SGC.
