Hello Golfers, This week we look forward to the start of the season (finally), some great offers from the pro shop team to take advantage of. We also have more information on our Get into Golf Open Day. It’s amazing to think we had snow again only last week, this winter certainly has to go down as one of the worst ever. The good news is that the snow cover is now completely gone allowing James and his team to carry on with golf course preparations for the season. Just this morning (Tuesday) the guys were out cutting the greens again and I for one am starting to get excited again. It’s time to dust off the bats and get back out on the course! |
Opening Weekend The Opening Day Captains vs. Vice Captains sheet is now up, located on the temporary boards in the foyer. Please be sure to get your name down for what I am told is a great day. Our new Club Captain William McQuillan will drive-in at approximately 9:00am/9:15am and I urge as many of you as possible to come along and witness. William asked me not to mention his intensive warm weather practice camp in Turkey this week as he prepares for the big drive, hopefully the weather on Opening Day is similar to Turkey this week and he doesn't blame long trousers for any dodgy drives... |
Our new era has begun Last week you received an email from us asking for your help. It wasn’t anything too onerous or time-consuming; simply sparing 20 seconds of your time to complete your golfing profile. |
The reason we’re asking you to do this is so that we can start sending you personalised content that is more relevant to your golfing needs. For example, if you’re a lady golfer with a handicap of 28 then the weekly emails you receive will include ladies product that will be suited to your playing ability. Likewise, if you’re a gentleman off 12, we will begin sending you content that will help you to get your handicap down to the holy grail of single-figure digits. Thank you to everyone who has already completed their profile and for those of you who haven’t been able to as of yet, please try and do so in the near future. |
