Hello golfers,

Each month we run a new poll on our website which allows you to have your say on the latest golfing topics. As you can see in the image here, last month's poll saw an overwhelming majority of you (74%) vote against the use of video evidence in golf. Recently the R&A issued a new Decision on the Rules of Golf to limit the use of video evidence in the game after Lexi Thompson was penalised four strokes in a ladies major after a TV viewer contacted the LPGA to inform them there had been an infringement the previous day. This move by the R&A has been welcomed with open arms by many people, including tour players and pundits both sides of the pond.

For June we are asking you to vote on one of golf's longest standing question: what is the best men's golf major? The early running indicates it's between the Masters and The Open, but click on the link below to cast your vote.

Professional's Day 2017

The biggest event of the year is just around the corner once more. That's right it's Professional's Day 2017! This will be my third Professional's Day since coming to LGC and we have already started planning something bigger and better. Now that we all know each other a bit better, the main focus this year will be on fun!

We have a huge range of activities going on throughout the day and all three Club Professionals will be on the course testing your golfing ability - don't be scared! We have an on-course BBQ and drink station as well as a huge range of prizes to be won. We are also asking you the chance to invite your friends to join us for the day! 

As per the last two years we will have a DJ for the evening entertainment in the clubhouse and we are inviting you all and your partners, of course, to join for a night of fun at your club. It really is days and nights like this that make our club as wonderful as it is. Be sure to get involved and please don't bring the car! 

The format for the event is betterball and the teams can be any combination of two players, female, male, junior etc.received. Please get in touch here to book a slot. Booking confirmation will only be issued when £10 payment (per player) has been made.
