This week we kick off exactly where we left of last week as golfers are still out in numbers, SAM PuttLab continues to be a big hit in the swing studio & putting green and Tiger is back in the headlines.

Poor Tiger seems to have a bad cloud around him right now. As a big fan and the number one golfer of my generation, I really hope this is just a small blip that he overcomes quickly and he gets back on the golf course again very quickly!

The pro shop has a lot going on over the next 3/4 weeks, so stick with me here and read what's going on as I am sure there will be at least one event that will get you interested. 


 

Professional's Day 2017

The biggest event of the year is just around the corner once more. That's right it's Professional's Day 2017! This will be my 3rd professional's Day since coming to LGC and we have already started planning something bigger and better. Now that we all know each other a bit better, the main focus this year will be on fun!

We have a huge range of activities going on throughout the day and all 3 Club Professionals will be on course testing your golfing ability - don't be scared! We have an on-course BBQ and drink station as well as a huge range of prizes to be won. We are also asking you to invite your friends and join us for the day! 

As per the last two years we will have DJ evening entertainment in the clubhouse and we are inviting you all and your partners, of course, to join for a night of fun at your club! It really is days and nights like this that make our club as wonderful as it is. Be sure to get involved and please don't bring the car!

The sheet will be going live Wednesday 31st May and the tee times are from 7.30am-3pm. We will be issuing on a first come first served basis. The format is betterball and the teams can be any combination of two players, female, male, junior etc… please get in touch to block a lot. 

Booking confirmation will only be issued when £10 payment (per player) has been received. 

Now all we need is the sunshine!


 

Titleist Fitting Day - Fri 2nd June 12-4pm

This Friday we have the Titleist Demo Team coming to LGC. They are bringing with them the largest selection of Titleist clubs for you all to try. 

The event as always is very relaxed and there is absolutely no obligation to purchase. All we hope is that you come along and try some of the latest product that are on the market, especially if you are looking at changing something in your bag. 

If you are hoping for a dedicated one-to-one fitting, we can do that as well. We have a number of 30 minute fitting appointments available. If you turn up on the day we cannot guarantee a private session.

After the huge success of our recent Scotty Cameron fitting and SAM PuttLab launch weekend, I have decided to go again with another equally impressive putter fitting weekend with another of the golf industry giants!
