Hello golfers,
This week at the club the great weather has continued, golfers have been coming out by the barrel load and we have a very busy weekend coming up at the club. We also have a HUGE announcement to make.
Science And Motion PuttLab
As most of you already know, we already have one of the best indoor fitting and coaching facilities in the country and while what we offer may be considered better than others, I am always on the lookout to improve things. Today, as I write my newsletter, I have just received the most exciting piece of coaching and fitting equipment to date, something that has never been done before at Linlithgow. We all know how important putting is to the game of golf, yet we tend not to do any systematic training to improve it, most of us think that we are "decent" at putting, but have you ever measured your success? Who are you actually comparing yourself to? Over the next couple of weeks we will be launching introductory putting offers and fitting days and changing the lesson packages that we offer all visiting KM Golf at Linlithgow Golf Club. This news is huge and we will be offering it to you! For a quick insight into what we will be offering please click here.
Scotty Cameron Putter Fitting Weekend
To coincide with the launch of our SAM PuttLab, we will be bringing an exciting weekend of putter fittings for everyone. We have organised the full range of Scotty Cameron putters to be here for the weekend and we will be giving away FREE 30 minute putter screenings on the weekend of Saturday, 20 May and Sunday, 21 May. To take advantage of this great offer and get yourself a detailed fitting, please click here to reserve your spot. We already have nine bookings confirmed for the weekend so remaining places are limited. Subsequently you can always come along and have a go with some of the putters yourself if you would prefer to do so on your own!
Young Masters Golf
This week sees the start of our second block of young Masters Golf coaching. We have 37 children attending weekly structured golf lessons with on-course golf experience. Numbers have been growing throughout the last year and the feedback has been great, I must tell you that the coaches are loving it too and the future of junior golf at Linlithgow Golf Club looks great! As part of the programme we host "blue tee events" at the end of each eight week coaching block. We held the first of these last Sunday night and 24 kids (and another 20 parents) came along to get involved, well done to everyone, the kids absolutely loved it. Thank you to the parents for helping and the members for accommodating the young golfers! We still have some spaces available for our coaching programme, so please click here for more information!
Mixed Open - Sunday, 21 May
We are still looking for entrants for our Mixed Open event on Sunday, 21 May, we also have some golfers who do not have any partner yet, but are keen to play. If you would like to make a booking, or get some more information, please direct all emails/questions to Lady Vice Captain Agnes Martin (Click here to email Agnes).
Trolley Sale
We are coming to the last weekend of our Lithium Trolley Sale. Not only are we giving you £25 OFF the retail price of ANY lithium battery operated trolley in stock, we are also giving you a completely FREE accessory to complement your trolley! This is a total saving of over £50, but the offer will end close at the end of play on Sunday night. This is a great offer supported by our suppliers and will not happen again, act fast to avoid disappointment! |
How does a FREE lesson and FREE fitting sound? Yes, you read that right. Until the end of June we’re offering the above on selected hardware purchases in-store. Our coaching and fitting expertise will really help you to get the most out of any new clubs in 2017, resulting in you playing better golf. | Get in touch for more information |
