Hello golfers,

I thought I had to start this week's newsletter by clearing up some confusion from last week's mail. YES I did say you can trade in anything, and yes it has been working already!

Look at LGC member Ian Ower here who happily collect £100 for trading-in some old tatty golf equipment that he had lying around his garage. Ian's hand full of clubs had been collecting dust over the last few years and one of the putters in particular didn't even have a manufacturer's name stamped on it, but we still gave him money for it! This offer is not to be missed, so please get into the loft, out to the garage or away to the store cupboard where you keep your excess golf equipment, we are giving you MONEY for it during the month of November!

   

 

Reciprocal Agreements

You should have now received news from the Secretary about our new reciprocal agreements with Airdrie and Hayston Golf Club. Over the last few weeks I have been working away behind the scenes trying to get our full members some additional benefits for playing at the number one golf course in the West Lothian area (as if that's not enough). I am hopeful of adding another few clubs to our new agreements to ensure that you have great value for money as a club member. Remember, all full members receive completely FREE golf all day Monday and Thursday as well as afternoon golf FREE on a Sunday. You may also invite three visitors along to either of the attached clubs at a discounted rate of £15 per visitor. Please contact your home Club Professional to make the booking though beforehand.

 

Titleist 917 Open Day - Saturday, 12 November

I have two completely FREE slots available for this Saturday's 917 Launch Event at the professional shop. The fitting slots are for 30 minutes long in which I am looking to test your existing equipment against the hottest driver on the golf market. Winter Performance Coaching Plan

Winter golf is not something we normally talk about in Scotland, although we do at LGC, because that's right, we have the best indoor fitting/coaching facility in the local area. I have put together a comprehensive package for this winter suitable for all levels of golfer who are looking to improve their game. I plan to look at every area of your game and evaluate where we can get some much needed improvement before the start of next season. Staff Update

Some of you may have seen a young fresh face of late around the shop (yes I have changed moisturiser recently). It is of course young Connor Douglas who has started working some part time shifts at LGC. Connor is a marketing student at Stirling University who also has some great experience of working in the golf industry having previously worked at Gleneagles and Gamola Golf. Please be sure to pop in and say hello to Connor next time he is in, but make sure you are nice!
