Hello golfers,
Great to see everyone around the golf club smiling over the last week, the smell of cut grass, the blue skies and the dodgy white legs that have started appearing... must be summer!
Lots to get across to you all this week.

Macmillan Cancer Support Golf Challenge
One more week until I attempt my 72 hole golf challenge in one day!
For the non-golfers reading this email, this may sound like a lot of fun, playing as much golf as you can in one day...think again! The closer this challenge gets the more scared I am becoming. Walking approximately 20 miles up and down hills while playing bad golf and looking for balls sounds a bit like torture to me. Remember this is of course a charity attempt, my friends and I are hoping to raise £10,000 for Macmillan Cancer Support and we are almost there. Thank you to everyone who has contributed already to the approximate £7,000 raised. A special thanks should go to our corporate sponsors; Stephen Gallacher Foundation, Kingsfield Golf centre, Alan Steel Asset Management, Arvill Plant and Tool Hire and Les Hutchison of Motherwell Football Club. EVERYONE'S contributions have been absolutely fantastic and the exposure raised has been unbelievable!
The challenge will take place on Friday, 20 May and we have the following tee times (approx) for anyone wanting to come along and support/caddy:
Round One - Linlithgow GC - 5.15am
Round Two - Linlithgow GC - 8.30am/8.45am
Round Three - Kingsfield GC - 12.45pm
Round Four - Linlithgow GC - 5.15pm
Please could I ask everyone playing on the day to be aware of what we are attempting and note the blocked tee times on BRS that day. Thank you again to everyone for reading and donating and click here if you would like to donate.
