Hello golfers,

Happy New Year everyone! You may be sick of saying it by now but you may also have noticed I have not been around the club for the last 10 days... I am in actual fact writing this week's newsletter from my hotel room in Dubai! I have managed to sneak away from the horrendous weather at home and get a little trip back to the sunshine with my family, after a very stressful 2015, and only one week off , a much needed break has been well received. I would love to say that the holiday has been very relaxing and I have recharged my batteries, BUT, in actual fact after trying to stop my two year old daughter from drowning, my nine month old son from eating the full contents of the beach and my wife from spending money in the malls, I must admit I am looking forward to getting back to work! 

   

All joking aside, this was a great trip away with my Dad, Brothers and their families, it has also been great to catch up with old friends and play golf in the sunshine again!



Back at Linlithgow...

Unfortunately for me, Phil has been keeping me up to date with things at home. It seems the cold weather has arrived and also the rain has kept on falling! I am sorry to report that we have actually experienced some flood water in the swing studio in the last few days and although Phil and Bill have been great we may have some long term damage to assess on my return. Let's hope the place drys out quickly and we can get back up and running. For all of you that may have some lessons booked, I may need to get in touch over the weekend and rearrange... fingers crossed! 

   

Unfortunately I don't have much club news to report on having been away for the last ten days, having said that I can remind you all that your 2016 members stickers are available to collect from the shop. After a successful year as a club, I am hoping that our new plans for 2016 will bring even more success this year. As you all know we rely on the support of you, our club members so please look out for our ideas this year and TELL YOUR FRIENDS ABOUT US!
