Hello golfers,
So this is it, the moment you've all been waiting for...Kenny's last newsletter of 2015! Fear not though, as you have most probably guessed, I will be back to entertain you again early next year and keep you up to date with what's on offer from your favourite golf professional!
I hope by now most of you have checked your shopping lists and purchased your Christmas presents, I for one only have one present to buy this year and that was for my wife. I will wait until the last minute as usual and then ask her to buy something for herself, again....
"Pull Kenny's Christmas Cracker"
What a promotion this has been, if you don't mind me saying so! I have been so happy with how my first Christmas campaign has gone this year and I hope you have been as well!? I am not going to overload you this week with loads of pictures of the multiple winners, I thought this week's special picture should be reserved for one of our most adventurous members. This particularly lovely gentleman has not only purchased a winter lesson package to get his game in shape for next year (please click here to book yourself, the perfect little stocking filler), he also has one of the finest wardrobe collections that I have ever seen... Not on this occasion!
Step forward Mr Stewart Dagger! As you can see from the picture, Stewart had a little wardrobe malfunction last week when he decided to come up to the pro shop to "Pull My Cracker" as what can only be described as "two reindeers in an awkward position". Stewart didn't actually come up to the club to buy some new outfits (shocking I know). He saved this particular outfit to collect some Pro V1 golf balls as ammunition for next season. Luckily for Stewart he was saved in this occasion by his lovely daughter who managed to make him look good. Poor Emily has not only had to put up with her embarrassing father on a day to day basis, she is also extremely "lucky" to call Ken Dagger her grandfather! She deserves a great Christmas for that one!
Last minute Christmas gift ideas...
For anyone who is still looking for that last minute prezzie or is short of a gift or two, I am happy to tell you that we will be open every day from now until 4pm on Christmas Eve. We still have a selection of club crested jumpers available, FootJoy shirts, chill outs and waterproofs, as well as selected shoe offers, trolley deals and special buys. Alongside all of the above offers I am still offering you the chance to "Pull My Cracker" for additional discounts. We will be around all weekend as well so please pop up and say hi!
I will sign off this year by thanking you all again for a wonderful first year. I for one have had many "ups and downs" this year but I am extremely thankful for the support throughout the year. My year two plans to be less stressful and a little better organised as well as consisting of much more golf!
I am going to leave you with a little "Christmas Cracker" of my own. That is of course my very own children Anna and Archie who were all dressed up last week for their first Christmas party back in Scotland!
Have a very Merry Christmas everyone and of course, best wishes for 2016. Happy golfing and enjoy the rest of the newsletter!
